Kenya Moore Reflects on the Tense Moments with Marc After the RHOA Charity Event
The RHOA cast member talks about her ups and downs with her estranged husband.
The last days of Kenya Moore's marriage to Marc Daly were documented for Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta — specifically the last event Kenya and Marc attended just before they announced their separation.
The March 1 episode of RHOA included that fundraiser, which was tense for the couple and included Marc complaining on a hot mic. In a preview for the March 8 episode of RHOA, Kenya opened up about the equally emotional moments after that event.
"Everything just happened so fast. We went to the event and he just seemed very irritated the whole time we were there, and not loving, not being nice to me," she tells Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss in the clip below. "He was just like saying little things under his breath and it seemed like everything I was doing was an issue... and then, I don't know what happened, but he ended up getting in the Uber and we took off. And then he was just livid. He was like, 'I didn't even want you to come.'"
During the March 1 episode of RHOA, Kenya addressed the early days of their relationship as she reflected on that event and how much things had changed between her and her estranged husband, in the clip below.
"I miss the fact that that's where we used to be: It was caring and love and everything that anyone could ever hope for looking for a mate. Looking at where we are now, it's hurtful to see that we're not where we used to be," she says. "I remember thinking probably about three months into the relationship, I was like, I really wish he would ask me to marry him because I would say yes. It'll look crazy to other people, but it's not crazy to us."
Kenya and Marc confirmed their separation last September, the same week the Black Man Lab event from the episode took place. The news came about two years after they married in St. Lucia in June 2017. Together they are parents to 1-year-old Brooklyn Daly.
