Kory Keefer Is Spending Time With This Bravolebrity After His Split from Sam Feher (PICS)
The Winter House cast member has been spending time with friends after his recent breakup.
Kory Keefer kicked off the year with a breakup. In mid-January, the news came out that the Winter House cast member is no longer seeing Summer House's Samantha "Sam" Feher with whom he'd been coupled up for about a year. (Find more details on their breakup, below.) So, what is Kory up to these days?
In recent posts from one of Kory's fellow Bravolebrities, followers got a glimpse of the fitness buff's latest business venture and a peek inside a cross-franchise friendship.
Austen Kroll visits Kory Keefer at his new gym
In his January 24 Instagram Stories, Southern Charm's Austen Kroll shared a photo of himself and Kory at a fitness-centric spot. "Taking a break from these Trop Hop planning meetings to check out [Kory Keefer's] new gym in CLT, [Core24]," Austen wrote in his caption. "Huge congrats on another successful opening."
In case you missed it, Kory owns CORE24, a gym that boasts locations in Greenville and Seneca, South Carolina. Kory’s parents owned the Seneca gym location, and Kory decided to take it over and put his own spin on the space after he graduated from college. Oh, and as for that Trop Hop Austen mentioned, that would be his beer brand.
In another Instagram story, the Trop Hop founder showed himself in a sauna, bathing under a blue light. In his caption, Austen noted: "2024 IN: Mental health and moderation. OUT: people projecting their own insecurities."
The details on Kory Keefer and Sam Feher's split
According to Sam, she initiated the breakup with Kory. On the January 16 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, she explained that she made the decision to do so shortly before the Winter House Season 3 reunion aired in late December.
"The trigger was, he texted like five or six days before Christmas, and was like, ‘Hey I just realized Christmas and New Year’s are coming up, what are we doing?’ And I was like, if you wanted to spend that time with me, I think you hopefully would've texted me before then or we would've figured it out sooner," Sam shared.
Sam was also still concerned about some moments from Winter House Season 3 — namely, Kory's flirtatious relationships with Malia White and Jordan Emanuel. "What took a toll was watching it back and finding out I had been lied to by so many people," Sam said. "And there are lies that are genuine, straight-up lies — like Malia saying, ‘I never wanted to hook up with Kory’ — and then there are lies by omission."
Sam also shared, "I had said [‘I love you’] to him and he never said it to me. He didn’t say it back when I said it and he then he never said it for the rest of the relationship. And that was really a big problem for me. I was like, ‘I think I need to get out.'"
"I didn’t break up with him because I don’t love him; I broke up with him because he doesn’t love me," Sam concluded. "And that's that."
After Sam shared her side of the story on a podcast, Kory spoke to Page Six the same day. "Sam and I connected on so many levels but I believe we just weren’t meant for each other, and that’s the hardest truth to admit,” he said, with the caveat that he has "nothing but positive things to say" about their relationship.
He also shared he was "sorry" about the breakup.
