Has Kristen Doute Long Been Dropping Hints About Her New BF?

Earlier this month, Kristen Doute confirmed that she has a new boyfriend(!!).

We may have even caught a glimpse of him in a video posted on Scheana Shay's YouTube channel that was all about Kristen's surprise birthday party. And while details about the Vanderpump Rules star's new man remain a mystery, we're starting to wonder if she has long been dropping hints about this dude.

When Kristen stopped by The Daily Dish offices at the beginning of Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules, she hinted at a budding romance following her complicated breakup from Brian Carter.

She noted that following their split, she attempted to establish friends with benefits-type relationships with "single hot friends that I know and am familiar with 'cause I don't really like strangers. Stranger danger kind of freaks me out... that being said I am kind of seeing someone."

During the January interview at Bravo HQ, she said this about the relationship in question (who, again, we can't confirm is the same guy that she's currently seeing): "But we're not serious and now we're in this casual-dating minefield situation ... you either go somewhere or you don't. It's a little tricky, but I'm definitely open to everything and anything right now."

So, did she think this guy could be someone she could get serious with? "I think that this person has a lot of potential. I just don't know if it's a good idea for me, yet. So he's just riding the wave with me. We're having a good time."

She also teased this about the mystery guy: "We've been friends for a while. He's friends with the crew... he's maybe been at things that have been on camera [on Vanderpump Rules]. Before, but, yeah, no [fans don't know him]."
