Lala Kent and James Kennedy Are Officially Friends Again — and You'll Never Guess Where They Were Spotted

Last week, James Kennedy revealed that tensions with Lala Kent had dissipated following the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 reunion. "Lala's reached out. We're chatting, we're texting and hopefully gonna meet up for lunch maybe this coming week and catch up a little bit in person," James revealed to TooFab. "But yeah, we're definitely texting. If I saw her today, I'd say hi."

And it seems like that scenario has already happened: The two former besties-turned-tentative friends were spotted in the studio this weekend. "We made a dope record in the studio today, glad to have my friend back. Get ready for some pure fire," James wrote on Instagram. And he may have even dropped a major hint as to the title of the track: "Ride With Me," as he noted in the hashtag.

Lala and James previously released a song, "Feeling You," in 2016, and last November, the "Boy" singer revealed she cut ties with her music producer Sean2 Miles after he worked with Scheana Shay on a song. James, meanwhile, recently collaborated on a song with Ariana Madix: "Party."
