It's Easy to See Why Luann de Lesseps Fell in Love with Her New Apartment

Although she wasn’t the first Housewife to venture into music, Luann de Lesseps has done what so many others have yet to do: build a successful and long-running singing career. Sure, figures like The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Erika Jayne have had a lot of success within the recording biz but, unlike Luann, they got their start years before their respective Bravo debuts.

Since joining The Real Housewives of New York City, Luann has blessed fans with infectious tunes, like “Money Can’t Buy You Class” (2010), “Chic C’est La Vie” (2011), "Girl Code" (2015), and “Feelin Jovani” (2019), effectively establishing herself as one of the most prolific recording artists to come from the Bravo-verse.

But what does she think about her fellow Bravolebs' musical outputs? Well, she shared a few thoughts during a recent appearance on the Viall Files podcast.

Split of Luann De Lesseps Scheana Shay and Melissa Gorga

About halfway through the March 21 sitdown, Luann was asked to review a handful of songs by reality TV figures, including Vanderpump Rules’s Scheana Shay and The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga.

One of the first tracks that host Nick Viall played was a remix of “Good as Gold,” a 2013 track Scheana performed during the inaugural season of Vanderpump Rules.

“It’s a little Katy Perry, isn’t it?” Luann said about the updated version. “Rainbows and ice cream. It’s very boppy. It’s like a kiddy song. It’s like a teenage bop song… It’s cute.”

Nick then played the official music video for Melissa’s 2012 cut “I Just Wanna,” featuring Santino Noir.

"Not bad," Nick said. "It's a pretty good song. OK, yeah."

“She’s so hot,” Luann said while watching the Scott Hansen-directed visual. “It’s pretty good. I like Melissa. She’s a great girl. We're friends.”

The episode aired just days before Luann released “Marry, F, Kill,” a catchy, funk-infused song she performed during her March 22 cabaret show at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. She spoke about her cabaret tour — also dubbed “Marry F Kill” — in a recent interview with The Daily Dish, revealing what was in store for the U.S. and U.K. trek.

“I pick the songs, I write a story that gets into the song because that’s what cabaret is all about,” Luann said. “It’s a personal show, which I talk about my experiences like on dating apps and all that stuff…“I’m doing a Tina Turner number. [The show] is pop culture meets cabaret meets comedy meets a fashion show.”

You can learn more about Luann's cabaret tour, including how to cop tickets, on her official website.
