Madison LeCroy and Her Son Just Went on the Ultimate Holiday Family Vacation

Madison LeCroy and her 10-year-old son, Hudson, just went on a vacation for the start of the holiday season that would make anyone — kids and kids at heart, alike — jealous. 

The Southern Charm cast member and her son are used to the warmer weather, thanks, in part, to them living in Charleston, South Carolina.

But, Hudson got a taste for the colder weather and bustling city life when Madison took him to New York City at the beginning of December for a fun-filled vacation where they hit all of the important NYC holiday hot spots.

In the photo carousel, posted to her Instagram account, on December 2, Madison shared pictures of her and Hudson visiting the Museum of Ice Cream (where he got to lay in the sprinkle pit), hanging out in Times Square, ice skating at the Rink at Rockefeller Center, looking at the lit Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, and walking the streets of Manhattan together. 

"Little apple meets the big apple," she wrote in the caption of the post.

In the past year, Madison celebrated her one year wedding anniversary to her husband, Brett Randle, and is absolutely loving her life. In an interview with BravoTV.com in September, Madison shared some recent life updates, including updates on Hudson. "I got married, I have a fabulous husband, a beautiful house, I mean, almost a pre-teen," she said. "So Hudson's in fifth grade, now, which is crazy to me. It's changed for the better now, I must say."

But Hudson isn't growing up too fast, just yet. "No, he doesn't have a girlfriend right now," she said. "But, you know, school just started back, so I can see that he's having some feels."

In addition to having some feels about people at school, Hudson might also have some feelings towards his new stepdad, Brett. During Southern Charm Season 9, Episode 1, Madison opened up about her blended family.

"Listen, I mean, I've been a single mom for seven years, so to see Hudson and Brett play together means the world to me," she said in a confessional during the episode.

Madison continued to explain how much Hudson has been enjoying having him around. "This is the first time that my son has had this family, you know," she explained. "Like, his dad is very involved, but to have us all in the house, and be together and [in] that unit, I think he really does love that."

And there is a possibility for them to be an even more blended unit, after Madison revealed during Season 9, Episode 10 of Southern Charm that her and Brett have been talking about having a baby. "This time I want it to be planned, and take our time," she said.

Who knows? Madison, Brett, and Hudson's next holiday season might look a little different. But this holiday season has been picture-perfect so far.
