Whitney Sudler-Smith is no stranger to being a man about town. Or, at least, a man about Charleston. The filmmaker is never not hanging out with one of his Southern Charm BFFs like hairstylist Madison LeCroy or, yes, her ex, Austen Kroll.
Madison's friendship with Whitney's mom, Southern Charm matriarch Patricia Altschul, has been long documented. Madison has done her hair for years and has continually turned to her for life advice and a good conversation. Madison told The Daily Dish in January 2023 that she and Patricia have always had "a good history of a friendship, and we could never not be friends."
Just days after hanging out with Patricia and teasing that they want to start a podcast together, Madison took to her Instagram Story where she posted a photo of her hanging out with Whitney, weeks after he hung out with Austen. Hey, there's a reason why they say that Charleston is a small town.
Whitney Sudler-Smith's Friendship with Madison LeCroy
Madison took to her Instagram Story on April 8, where she posted a selfie of her and Whitney hanging out and dressed casually at a Charleston restaurant.
Madison flashed a peace sign while wearing a casual denim shirt, accessorized with chunky gold earrings and sunglasses. Whitney, on the other hand, looked stylish as usual, wearing a yellow shirt, aviator sunglasses, and a trucker hat. Both of them look so cool and put together at the same time that they could look like siblings.
"Brothers," Madison wrote on top of the photo.

Whitney Sudler-Smith Hangs Out with Austen Kroll
Weeks before Whitney met up with Madison, he hung out with her ex, Austen. Whitney took to his Instagram feed on March 16, where he posted a photo of the two of them with their arms around one another, sitting at a bar with the ocean in the background.
"With [Austen] from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs flow," Whitney wrote in the caption of the photo, quoting lyrics from "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin. Needless to say, the two men are close, especially after they shared a kiss while on vacation in Jamaica in Southern Charm Season 9, Episode 13.
And rest assured, there is no bad blood between Austen and Madison now after breaking up in 2020. Madison appeared on Austen and Craig Conover's podcast, Pillows and Beer in May 2023, where she was congratulated by Austen on her marriage to her husband, Brett Randle.
"Madison's married, and I'm happy for you," Austen said, noting that they were "in a good place" together. "And your husband is wonderful."
