After sharing that she's pregnant with her fifth childThe Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Monica Garcia made another surprising reveal — and this time, it pertains to her mom, Linda Darnell.

Are Monica Garcia and her mom Linda Darnell on good terms after RHOSLC Season 4?

No. As Monica revealed on the April 11 episode of The Viall Files, "My mom and I are done. We're done. I will never speak to her again."

Monica's final conversation with Linda was apparently "a couple months" ago, she noted, adding, "The last thing she said to me was, 'You no longer have a mother and I no longer have a daughter.'"

Why did Monica Garcia feature her mom on RHOSLC?

Monica was asked why she chose to film with her mom if they had such a difficult relationship, to which she responded, "My mother and I, it's very ups and downs. At the time that [filming on RHOSLC Season 4] started, we were up. And I was like, 'Okay, we can film. We're going to be okay. We can do this.' [But] I have never experienced a down like that with my mom."

In retrospect, Monica said she now knows just how toxic her relationship with her mom is.

"It's so different when you actually are watching it versus living it, 'cause growing up, that was normal," she explained. "But then actually witnessing it and hearing everybody and getting all these messages from people, I'm like, you know, this is really like f-cking f-cked up."

Monica shared a similar sentiment back in January following the conclusion of the RHOSLC Season 4 reunion. While reflecting on how she and Linda "have been through a lot — truly hell and back," Monica told The Cut it was "very cathartic" for her to hear from fans who've been through something similar with a parent.

"I’m actually shocked at how many people are in the same exact situation," she said.
