See Why Heather Gay Wants to "Thank" Monica Garcia as She Reflects on the RHOSLC Instagram Drama
Heather Gay also shared her thoughts on her RHOSLC Season 4 finale monologue going viral.
After a season filled with jaw-droppingly dramatic moments, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 officially concluded with Part 3 of the reunion on January 23.
During Part 3, newbie Monica Garcia clarified her role in the Reality Von Tease Instagram account, Heather Gay shared new insight into her black eye, and fellow cast members Lisa Barlow, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, and Whitney Rose shared their highs and lows of the season.
Once the reunion concluded, Heather appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and she revealed why she's thankful for Monica, whether she thinks she can ever reconnect with her, and how she really feels about her now-viral finale monologue today.
Heather Gay Shares Why She Wants to "Thank" Monica Garcia
Though none of the ladies felt like they could move forward in their respective friendships with Monica by the time the reunion ended, Heather does appreciate the new addition for one key reason.
"Nothing bonds people more than a common enemy, and I can thank Monica for bringing us all much closer," she said on WWHL. "I think that we were really upset and we were waiting to see what she had to say to excuse herself, and she didn't say anything."
Heather Gay Sounds Off on Monica Garcia's RHOSLC Future
Amid discussions about Monica and RHOSLC, Heather shared why it would be hard for her to continue a friendship with the mom of four down the road.
"What Monica never got is it's a show about friendship, and she was not interested in being any of our friends," Heather said, before noting that her, Angie, Meredith, Lisa, and Whitney "have a great time together."
Heather Gay Reacts to Monica Garcia's Role in the Instagram Account
Monica's involvement in a Instagram account wasn't the first time that the RHOSLC ladies dealt with "Finsta" drama.
On Season 3, friend Angie Harrington's husband, Chris Harrington, admitted to creating a fake account because he felt like his wife was being "attacked in the media."
Heather shared why she was able to move forward with Angie and Chris, but not Monica.
"I was never supportive of that, but it was one comment, he came clean, he apologized, and he wasn't a housewife," Heather explained about Chris. "Monica came on with an agenda, and she led with all of this truth-telling except for the hugest thing... All of that was a lie, and that was unforgivable."
She went on to say that if Monica had discussed the Instagram account at the beginning of the season, "it would have been a non-issue."
"If she came clean... we would have worked through it,' she continued. "It was the deception for the entire season, especially from someone who said she's a truth-teller."
Heather Gay's Monologue on the Season 4 Finale
Even if you don't regularly tune in to RHOSLC, there's a chance that you've heard the audio of Heather saying "Receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots" somewhere on social media. Heather's monologue from the final group dinner in Bermuda went viral after the Season 4 finale aired, and she spoke about the audience reaction to the speech on WWHL.
"It was a thrill, because it is a collective experience, and like the audience enjoyment of the show, it really does matter to us," Heather said. "We want to have that communal experience and have that celebration, and I just felt thrilled and amused and honored and all of it."
