The comedy world is a lot less funnier with the sad news of Joan Rivers' death Thursday. But with her nearly 60-year-career left as a legacy, her friends and family are coming forward with their heartfelt and hilarious memories of the late icon.
Andy Cohen was one of them. And he took to Instagram to share stories about his pal, who appeared on Watch What Happens Live several times over the years. Read his tribute below.
"I love this ballsy, funny, generous, shrewd, unpredictable and loyal woman. I grew up in awe of her as she filled in for Carson and pinched myself when I co-starred in a pilot with her for Bravo in '06. She went on to appear on WWHL many times, showing up in the middle of the night with a great attitude and a slew of new jokes. And this summer Michael Rourke and I developed a show with her, starring her, that we were in the middle of pitching networks. She was so indomitable we all thought she would live forever. Joan was a trailblazer and an indelible part of pop culture."
We're also looking back at some of those amazing moments with Andy in the Clubhouse, from her opening up about her philosophy on life to her biting critiques of the Housewives' fashion, take a look at those clips here.
