Kenya Moore Just Clocked Her #FirstMothersDay: This Is How She Celebrated

Kenya Moore is preparing for motherhood by celebrating her first Mother's Day. The expecting The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend and her hubby, Marc Daly, spent the big day taking in a concert, as they prepare to welcome their first child together later this year. "What an amazing night!!!. Hubby took me to see #AnitaBaker who is my all time favorite from #Detroit. I remember selling her a sweater when I was a teenager working in a department store," Kenya shared. "She's still beautiful and her voice is as sweet as ever. What an amazing concert. First time seeing her live. #blessings #thankyou #love #family #firstmothersday."

In addition to checking out some live tunes, Kenya also waxed poetic about her upcoming new role as a mama. "This is truly a special day for me and my family. I feel so blessed to be at this point In My life. Some may say late but God will say right on time," Kenya wrote.

She continued, "I never understood the force of Mothers. Although the man is the head of the household, it is the woman that is the nucleus of the family and glue that keeps it together. I'm in awe of Motherhood, creating lives... viable human beings... I will never take this role for granted."

Kenya shared her big baby news during the RHOA reunion earlier this year. This June, she and Marc will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary.
