Here’s Why Kenya Moore Says Marlo Hampton Is Like Her Ex Marc Daly
The RHOA cast member made the surprising comparison following their drama at the Drop It with Drew event.
The tension brewing between Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton on this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta quickly turned into a heated moment between Marlo and Kenya Moore in the June 26 episode.
As Kenya came to Kandi’s defense at the Drop It with Drew event, she and Marlo, who have their own history of butting heads, ended up exchanging some pretty harsh words.
While reflecting on their drama in The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show, Kenya and Marlo both expressed that they weren’t proud of how things had escalated between them that day. “I hate I let her get me there. But it’s like, with her, she knows how to poke you,” Marlo said. “But you just have to be strong and just laugh at her. Let it be comical.”
For Kenya, this moment helped her notice something about her interactions with Marlo that she said was reminiscent of her past marriage to Marc Daly. “I think what it is is that Marlo behaves the same way that my husband used to behave,” Kenya shared. “They pretend that they like you and that they care about you. But the moment they get angry, they try to destroy you with their words.”
