Jackie Goldschneider Responds to Dolores Catania’s “Mind [Your] Own Business” Diss
Dolores made the remark during The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show in defense of Danielle Cabral.
After The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Jackie Goldschneider accused Danielle Cabral of “leaving out a big piece of the story” when it comes to her strained relationship with her brother, Dolores Catania came to Danielle’s defense on the RHONJ After Show by insisting that Jackie had no room to talk considering she’s also estranged from one of her siblings.
Now Jackie’s responding.
“I’m gonna be totally honest here, and if you ask Dolores she’ll tell you the same thing: Dolores and I got into a fight, like an argument, OK?” Jackie recently told ET, noting that said “fight” occurred shortly before the RHONJ After Show was taped. “And then the following Saturday we made up with a big, huge hug and ‘I love you…’ and blah, blah, blah!”
“We were pissed at each other, and she was really pissy, and when Dolores is really pissy, she does not hold back,” Jackie continued. “And so she did [the] After Show during the one week that we were in a fight, and that’s why it came out so nasty.”
However, fight or no fight, Jackie made it clear that she also disagrees with Dolores’ sentiment about the Danielle drama. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking questions about a story that doesn’t seem to make sense, and also, please ask me whatever you want about my sister!” she said. “I have told it a million times, and you’ll never see me go, ‘Stop f--king asking about my sister!’ You know? Like, I don’t mind the questions about my sister, because the truth is the truth.”
Jackie, for her part, has previously been open about the drama with her sister. In 2021, for example, she explained that doesn’t even consider their relationship to be “strained” because she’s “never even known her as a sister” to begin with.
“It’s very strange to me to even refer to her as my sister, ’cause she’s just another woman who shares the same parents as me,” Jackie added at the time. “I’ve never, ever, ever had a relationship with her. And I thought that when we got to be adults that would change and our children would soften that divide. But it just never happened.”
The siblings’ relationship does appear to be in a slightly better place today, though. As Jackie told ET, “We don’t, like, hate each other. If I called my sister right now and needed something, she’d be there in a minute. I know that.”
When it comes to Danielle’s sibling drama, she has always maintained that the situation with her brother is as straightforward as it sounds. And unfortunately, the tension between the two still exists to this day. As she revealed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in early March, the relationship is “still not good.”
