Scheana Shay Asks for "Some Respect" Following Split from Mike Shay

Following news that Scheana Shay and Mike Shay are divorcing after two years of marriage, the Vanderpump Rules SURver headed to Twitter fire back at anyone who might have any criticism about their relationship. "Anyone who has anything negative to say about our marriage or @MikeShayMusic will be blocked," Scheana posted on Thursday. "Have some respect."

On Wednesday, the couple confirmed to The Daily Dish that they are separating in a joint statement: “While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship. Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters."

Scheana and Mike said "I do" in July 2014 in front of their family and friends. The wedding was featured on Vanderpump Rules. Last season, the couple opened up about Mike's substance abuse issues.

“We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success," the statement continued. Scheana later mirrored that sentiment on Twitter.
