Just weeks after his Costa Rican getaway, the Southern Charm cast member boarded a flight to Nashville, Tennessee, where he revisited his alma mater and caught up with a few old pals. Shep documented the trip in a series of Instagram posts, beginning with a car ride video with his former classmate.

“So I’m getting on my flight from Atlanta to Nashville… and I run into this guy (Pat Williams) from back in the day,” Shep said in a February 1 Story. “In business school, he [sat] three rows behind me and he’s giving me a ride. Thank you, Pat. We had a lot of fun many moons ago, so it’s good to see him. And hello, Nashville! Spending a couple of nights here, seeing old friends.”

Following his BBQ lunch, Shep headed to the Vanderbilt University campus and jokingly mourned the loss of a college-town fast-food staple.

“Good to be back at [Vanderbilt],” he captioned the video, before turning the camera toward an empty lot. “But the Qdoba is gone! Noooo!”

The Southern Charm-er proceeded to give fans a virtual Nashville tour, as he posted additional photos of his old apartment as well as his past hangout spots.

Where did Shep Rose live during his business school days?

“Oh my. The old domicile. Such funny memories,” he captioned a picture of the Twenty & Grand apartment building. “But my old haunt South Street is gone! Spent a lot of time in the crows nest there.”

He then snapped a picture at the corner of 21st Avenue and Children’s Way, the former location of a beloved sports grill.

“Upstairs Sportsman is gone,” he wrote followed by the unamused emoji face.

However, Shep reassured his followers that “some things stay the same,” as he posted a photo of the Pancake Pantry, which has been a Nashville dining staple since the 1960s.

He also shared a few more photos with friends and fans, including country music singer Alli Walker. The artist posted a selfie with Shep on her Instagram and admitted to being a bit of a “fan girl.”

“Nice to meet you,” Shep wrote when resharing the post. “Listening to your music now. And wow!”
