Tamra Judge on Why She Opened Up About Her Daughter: "I Knew God Wanted Me to Share It"
The mom explains the decision to discuss her relationship with her estranged daughter at the #RHOC reunion.
It was one of the most tear-jerking moments of the night when Tamra Judge candidly recalled the conversation she had with her daughter Sidney prior to their estrangement during Part 1 of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion. Following that episode, the RHOC mom has shared that the reveal wasn't planned, and was later something she grappled with prior to the reunion airing.
"People have asked me why I decided to share my story at the reunion. I can tell you this, IT WAS'NT MY PLAN! (even the producers were shocked)," she wrote on Facebook on Tuesday (October 20). "I worried a lot the past few weeks about what I had shared and if it was the wrong thing to do? But in my heart I knew God wanted me to share it...to help other people going through the same pain. I don't care to share the personal details, there are so many horrible lies that were fed to the press and all I can say is don't believe what you read."
In her message (and well as on Twitter), Tamra shared that since her revelation, she has received support from other parents going through similar situations. "I know I am not alone, I have gotten 100's of emails and all of the stories are heartbreaking. I love my daughter more than anything in the world and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her and cry," she wrote. "WE all miss you so much, your grandma, grandpa, uncles, aunt, cousins, brothers we all miss and Love you Sidney. Parents, Love your kids more than you Hate your EX."
