Teresa Giudice has apparently been in Super T mode -- the Real Housewives of New Jersey star says she's building on her TV and publishing successes with a makeup line and a signature Bellini cocktail. Teresa talked to Starpulse just before heading out to mingle with hundreds of fans for her Fashion's Night Out event in the Windy City. She also signed copies of her new cookbook, Fabulicious.
Teresa said her new cosmetic line -- with nail polish, lipgloss, and lipstick, called TG by Teresa Giudice -- is debuting in October in stores like CVS and Wal-Mart. "It's like a buy one get one free, like you buy a nail polish and you get a lipgloss free. They are packaged together," she explained.
She's also coming out with her own version of a Bellini, called Fabellini "around the holidays." Like Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl line, Teresa says her cocktail will be all-natural. "I am using a gold medal champagne with natural peach puree. You know my first book I was all about Bellini, so I'm like I need to formulate my own. It's 12 percent alcohol too so it will totally get you buzzed!"
Besides a buzzing Bellini, what else do T's cookbooks have to offer? When asked to pull recipes from both Fabulicious and Skinny Italian to make the perfect meal, Teresa suggested an appetizer-entrée-dessert combo of stuffed eggplant, steak pizzaiola and strawberries with sambuca. She couldn't stop herself at one killer menu, though: "And for a pasta dish I love devil shrimp over angel hair pasta. I love red sauce. Italians are big with the red sauce. If you want to use a white sauce, do linguini in a white clam sauce. Wait, no! My favorite in 'Skinny Italian' is tagliatelle with peas and ham. But, the white and spinach tagliatelle so when you make it, it looks really pretty. It's absolutely delicious."
