Tom Schwartz and Scheana Break Down Their Vegas Makeout During His "Rocky Moment" with Katie
Tom and Scheana Shay open up in the Vanderpump Rules After Show about their buzzed-about kiss more than a decade ago.
On Season 11, Episode 9 of Vanderpump Rules, Tom Schwartz spilled some shocking information to Lala Kent: "I made out with Scheana [Shay] like 12 years ago in Vegas."
"Me and Katie [Maloney] were dating," he continued. "But it was, like, a rocky moment."
When Katie confronted Scheana about the news, Scheana explained, "Me and Ariana [Madix] were there [in Las Vegas] with my mom and my sister for her cheer competition in like f—king high school. Schwartz pulls me in the corner and kisses me." At the time, she said, "[Mike] Shay and I were maybe just engaged."
Scheana told Katie that although a kiss did occur, "It was not a makeout."
"I wanted to pretend like this never happened," she explained in an interview. "I never told Shay. I never told my mom. I never told my best friends. I mean, also, I would never have told Katie. Especially back then because the bitch is scary. I mean, this was peak tequila Katie hates Scheana days." She added, "There's no way in hell I was gonna be like, 'By the way, your man wanted me in Vegas and he kissed me.'"

In the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above, Scheana and Tom shared more details on what exactly happened in Vegas.
Scheana Shay and Tom Schwartz break down that past Vegas "makeout" moment
According to Scheana, during their Las Vegas hangout more than a decade ago, "[Tom] tells me to come over to the corner, and then he just kisses me." Tom, however, has a different version of events. "She's making it sound like I ...came on to her hardcore," he said in the clip above. "If that was true, then why would she in a cheeky, fun way remind me, sometime in the last year, like 'Remember when we made out in Vegas?'"
Although Scheana maintains Tom initiated the kiss, she explained, "It was not in a forceful sort of way. I want to clear that up."
"He shot his shot, I shot him down, we said we were never going to speak about it, we told no one," she continued. "Until he told Lala."
Katie, however, thinks there's more to the story than Scheana is sharing. In the video above, she asks, "If it was a big nothing-burger of a situation... why didn't you just, like, tell me?"
