How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The mom of two shared that she had recently been pregnant for about six-and-a-half or seven weeks before suffering a miscarriage. The episode featured a video of the moment Toya found out she was expecting and shared her positive results with her husband Dr. Eugene Harris and their sons Ashton and Avery. "Then we got excited about the baby. It could be the little girl we've always wanted," she shared. "Then all of a sudden, there was no baby."

Toya visited Dr. Simone Whitmore a few days after she went to the emergency room following her miscarriage in order to make sure she was in good health. "I didn't cry in front of them because I was like, I didn't want to be sad," she told her friend and OBGYN about sharing the sad news with her sons. "I think the hardest part is Eugene. I was like, 'How are you?' He said, 'I'm fine.' He said, 'I just put it on my virtual shelf.' He's like, 'I've got a virtual shelf of failures. There's only like two, and this is like the third one.'"

Dr. Simone made sure to emphasize to Toya that she is in no way responsible for her miscarriage. "So first of all, a miscarriage is not a failure, because a failure implies that it would be something you could control," she said during the episode. "There are some things, like a miscarriage, that are beyond our control."

Since then, Toya has been focusing on her family and the beautiful life they all have together. She and Dr. Eugene celebrated their 11th anniversary with a trip to Spain in July. "When [11 years] feels like we’re still dating and having fun... I pray God continues to bless our union and keep his hand on our family. I love loving you and I’m especially thankful for the opportunity to grow with a man who loves loving me," Toya gushed on Instagram on the eve of their romantic getaway. "Tomorrow we begin our next tour of the world together and after 11 years, I still love seeing the world with you. Happy anniversary @eugeneharrisiiimd."

Toya also marveled at how big her little boys are getting when they went back to school in August. "Lord keep watch over my big boys this school year!!" she shared on Instagram. "Give them fun new friends, an amazing 2nd and 4th grade year and loving teachers that fill their minds with more knowledge."

See what's coming up for Toya and the rest of the Married to Medicine crew in an all-new episode Sunday at 9/8c, below.
