Captain Lee Rosbach Says He Fired Trevor Walker "For Being a F***-Up"

Does the #BelowDeck crew agree with his decision?

By Laura Rosenfeld
What Does the Below Deck Cast Think of Trevor Walker Getting Fired?

Captain Lee Rosbach decided to give Trevor Walker the boot during Tuesday night's episode of Below Deck, but don't try to put it nicely around the boss. "No, he got fired," Captain Lee made a correction when The Daily Dish asked him about letting Trevor go. "'Let go' is much too pleasant. He got fired. It wasn't a 'let go.' It wasn't, 'I'll let you down easy.' He got fired for being a f***-up."

How to Watch

Captain Lee went on to explain why he thought it was time to hand Trevor a plane ticket home. "Trevor doesn't play well with others. He's extremely offensive. One drink is not enough and two is too many. He doesn't handle his alcohol well. He doesn't interact socially well with other people. And you have to have that chemistry on a yacht. You have to get along. You don't necessarily have to like everyone that you work with. You can have your dislikes. But you need to be professional enough to set it aside, do your job, and get along as best as you can," he said. "Trevor is just way too full of himself. Not enough room on that boat for anybody with an ego that size."

Captain Lee Rosbach Asks Trevor Walker to Leave

Nico Scholly, who ran into conflict with Trevor at work as his fellow deckhand and at play while hanging out in the yacht's hot tub during a night off, pulled a Mariah Carey when asked about his thoughts on Trevor getting fired. "Who's Trevor? I don't remember him at all," he told The Daily Dish. "Oh, the senior dickhand. I don't remember him, to be honest. Sorry."

Well, chief stew Kate Chastain does remember the moment Trevor got fired on Below Deck, and she was all for it. "When Trevor got fired, I was just surprised that it hadn't happened sooner, honestly. I think everybody gave him way too many chances," she said. "I think it's for the best because he doesn't belong on a boat of this size. He's too rash and irate and just not good."

Looking back, Captain Lee said he "absolutely" and unequivocally" thinks he made the right decision when it comes to Trevor. "Trevor was a shining example of why somebody should be fired, in my own way of sugarcoating things," he said.

As for whether or not this will be the last time we see Captain Lee give out a plane ticket this season, he said "that remains to be seen." We can't wait to find out.

Until then, watch Captain Lee drop some more knowledge, below.
