Rage texts are sort of the unspoken additional cast member on Vanderpump Rules. This is a group of friends, acquaintances, lovers, co-workers, enemies, and frienemies that is known to send each other fiery and passionate texts in the heat of an argument and the moment.

How to Watch

Katie Maloney-Schwartz has done it. Brian Carter has hit send on a fewJax Taylor and James Kennedy are also guilty of the habit. Sandoval's been there. Yes, even Scheana Shay.

In the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 After Show, the cast opens up about rage texting. And Jax's rage texts about a dueling pool party with Tom Sandoval were a hot topic with the cast in the After Show, above.

"Jax started texting Schwartz for no reason," Katie recalled. "And was like, 'Hey, man, I don't think you should come to my party. Like, I think you should support Sandoval. He's your business partner. And Schwartz was like, 'What are you talking about, Jax? We're coming to your party...'"

As for Katie's history with rage texts in the context of Brittany Cartwright calling her out on it this season, Katie noted in the After Show: "I thought that was stupid. We're talking about Jax. What I've done in the past with my friends, I guess I'm still paying for it, clearly. But this is Jax's fault."
