It's a new school year for Dr. Britten Cole's children, daughter Ivy and son Mack Jr., aka Miney, and the Married to Medicine Los Angeles family has already encountered their first major challenge of the term.

Dr. Britten documented her kids' "first day of (virtual) school" with a video on Instagram on August 18. As Dr. Britten tried to get her kids to hold up their fingers to show which grade they were each entering into (fifth grade for Ivy and third grade for Miney), they had some adorable fun in front of the camera before ultimately posing for their mom's picture.

Dr. Britten praised her children for their "cute" pose and told them they "did a great job." Ivy and Miney then ran off to show their dad, Mack Major, their first day of school outfits. We can only imagine he was just as impressed as Dr. Britten was.

Dr. Britten braced herself for what the new school year would bring for her "newly promoted 5th and 3rd graders" as they learn from home amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. "Good luck to us all this school year," Dr. Britten cheekily wrote in the caption to the post.
