Anthony Bourdain has been all over social media since the very beginning, when the allegations against Harvey Weinstein hit the news — and Bourdain's girlfriend Asia Argento was among the accusers. And now the chef has again taken to Twitter to show both his love and admiration for his other half, as the sexual assault and harassment allegations ripple strongly through the food world — most recently to Mario Batali, who stepped down from his restaurant business, and to Spotted Pig owner Ken Friedman.
On Tuesday, Bourdain shared a snapshot of himself reclining in a hammock with Argento, alongside the caption: “I ain’t ‘woke’. I was lucky enough to meet one, truly extraordinary woman @AsiaArgento.”
Giving the post an even more personal undertone, she replied “I miss everything about that picture.”
