Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa Are Doing a Cleanse Together — But She Might Not Make It

The Live With Kelly and Ryan hosts are finding the iZo Superfood Cleanse to be... rather challenging.

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest not only work together: The pair engages in synchronized cleansing. The Live With Kelly and Ryan hosts have spent the spent two weeks guzzling juice (and juice alone) as part of a Goop-approved diet that they undertook together.

Both TV personalities have been putting the iZo Superfood Cleanse to the test. That means they're getting their nutrients from juice or water mixed with powders full of seeds, algae, and seaweeds. Seacrest has completed his cleanse and is now back to solid (and warm!) foods, but Ripa is still sticking to the somewhat punishing regime.

Though she's tried cleanses before, the latter admitted to fans on Tuesday's episode of the morning talk show: "I don’t think I’m going to make it.” (Lisa Rinna feels you, girl.)

Her co-host cheered her on, telling her: "You have more strength than anybody" — but he's also torturing her just a little bit. That morning, Seacrest had sent Ripa and her husband photos of his French toast and coffee. We can only imagine Ripa's FOMO.

In the end, though, Seacrest maintains that the cleanse was worth it. "[My girlfriend and I] did it because it cleanses your organs, and I’m telling you, you’ll feel great at the end,” he said.

And if "feeling great" means being able to eat French toast again, we'll take it.
