Erika Girardi: Turning 45 Is a Big One, So I Wanted to Really Go for It This Year

Hello, My Pretties!

It feels great to be back for another season. And what a season it will be – with new faces, new places, and many new memories.

It was great to catch up with Kyle and Eileen over lunch. I really enjoy these women and I love hearing about everything that’s happening with their exciting careers. Eileen is still going strong on The Young & The Restless and Kyle has a brand new TV show based on her life. It’s amazing.

I’m happy to share my 45^th birthday with you all. Turning 45 is a big one so I wanted to really go for it this year.

As a performer, I’ve always been very inspired by Andy Warhol and the Studio 54 era– the wardrobe, the glamour, the free-spirited underground club world. My birthday party in this week's episode brought that to life for me on a whole other level and I thought the ladies – Kyle, Eileen, LVP, Rinna,Dorit – looked fabulous. I was happy they were all able to make it. We had a great time.

I was absolutely blown away by the gift Eileen gave to me for my birthday. I mean, a guest role on her show The Young & The Restless?! Seriously?!  What an incredible surprise. I’m excited for everyone to see the episode on December 15^th. Make sure to tune in!

My husband Tom flying my mom in from Atlanta was truly special. It was very unexpected. I was glad that my mom was finally able to meet all of the women and I could not be happier than to have her here to celebrate this very special night with us.

This is going to be a great season, so stay tuned.
