Season 4
Season 3
Season 2
Season 1
I so desperately want LuAnn to be more open and accepting of others' thoughts and feelings because, ultimately, it will make her an even better person. Nobody’s perfect. We all have a need for attention and admiration from others, but LuAnn’s steady composure is shaken only when her confidence is threatened and she is very confidant, which can leads to a tendency of taking others for granted, and I will not allow her do that to me. We ALL have room to learn and to grow. We need to own our flaws and shortcomings, and work to improve ourselves as human beings through the experience or living and others perspectives and hopefully we can laugh a lot doing it!

Heather
As I've watched Ms. Thomson move through each take for this season, I am pleasantly surprised to say that I think she is one of the more exciting, truthful, laughable, serious and sincere "housewives" in all of the Housewives series. I like her poise and directness. I hope in the next season Bravo shows more of her and her family. Good luck Ms. Thomson, I thoroughly enjoy your contributions to the Real Housewives of New York.
I am so glad you joined the show! You are a breath of fresh air and it's great seeing your honesty!
you, more than any of the other housewives, seem to be completely honest and straight forward. i love carole, but she would benefit by admitting to her passive aggressive tendencies.
Hi Heather,
I had fun watching this year but maybe not as much as in past seasons. There seems such a coldness in this year's activities. Carole seems to think herself a social scientist but you remind me of the main character in Ibsen's The Wild Duck. Not everyone needs to see the truth or learn from their actions. If Romona did as you wish, this show would be no fun. You have to pretend that you find some redeeming quality in Sonja, Romona and Lu or the show just seems to be nothing but pathetic. But I will say, the mad jump in the pool at the end of the horrible trip was brilliant! I think Aviva not wearing the coat was much more of a major FU than Sonja and Romona talking during the show. They can't help themselves but Aviva sure should considering the loads of education and class she has.
Heather - I must admit, I did not care for you at the beginning of the season and watching the reunion and having both Ramona & Sonja say you were nervous made complete sense. You are intelligent, honest and I am sure, a loyal friend. Congratulations on making the transition into the show and I hope you will be returning. It's always great to get a peak into the lives of women who are trying to achieve that sought after balance of family, friends and career. All the best to you...
Heather, in the beginning I thought you had attitude. Didn't think that by the end of the season that I would just love you. You give a honest picture of what is happening, and the advice is spot on. I do have to agree with others that you should of stood up for Romona and Sonja at the charity event. Overall, you give these ladies a few things that are missing. I can't wait until the next season starts. My prayers for your son. I hope things can be positive and healthy each and every day!
Heather, why do you even help Sonja at all, She is unworthy and an idiot. Pull the plug on the work you've done for her. She is awful.
FIRST, let me say, i adore you. you are the realest by far. you have not disappointed. second, you spelled khan the jewish way in your blog.. "kahn," but his name is actually "khan".. i know, because that is my name too. but i also adore the jews and i do not mind that spelling either! i only am telling you just for his branding purposes and whatnot, when someone decides to look him, and for your own future use, i thought id point that out, because im sure you just did not notice the spelling difference.) anywho, aside from that, youre golden dahling! you and your hubby! your son is also too cute!! the amazing things you do for him and your charities, and how you run your business, and juggle your friendships with these women and manage to maintain you... are all inspiring. you have been able to time and time again, say your true thoughts, and express them properly, in a way that is honest and polite. i think people like you are rare and i hope you never change. a true lady. take care. HOLLA! ;)
LOVE YOU HEATHER and I hope you return next season you are awesome....Holla!
Heather, I admire your strength and business savvy. However you and Carole were absolutely wrong for not supporting Ramona when Aviva's father crashed the party and attacked her. It was pretty shocking that you didn't do the right thing in that situation.
I am a big Heather fan. You are the real class act, not Luanne or the other two on that couch opposite the 3 ladies with the most class. You are a person who is good at heart and I would love to have a friend like you. Every step of this last season, I saw you being ambused and I felt badly for you. Sonja is not a class act. I don't feel I even need to say what Ramona is, but she took the wrong cab and ended up trying to be on the Jerry Springer show! Same classless person. Live strong and God bless!
champsmom
Too bad Heather is so boring to watch.
Holla Heather -
I love, love, love Heather!!! What a wonderful addition to this show you have made. You are a smart, lovely, strong woman with a beautiful smile (Ramona's just jealous!!!). I hope you continue on this show. I'm sure you have plenty of better things to do with your time, but it is really refreshing to have you & Carol for a bit of balance from all the insanity!!
The world needs your good energy and positive nature. Not sure how you worked to stay above the fray and offer it in reality TV. Well done, Heather.
BlancheBrady
REally? Are you watching the same program ?
Why didnt she speak to Aviva the way she speak to Sonja or Ramona?
So glad Aviva did it to her fashion show by taking off the jacket.
I never comment on any of these blogs, but I felt compelled to do so after watching you all season. Heather, you are such a role model! I love how you are such a good friend. Whenever I am tempted to be narcissistic when I'm with my friends, I think, what would Heather do? You are so caring and other-centered. You are an inspiration.
Heather...at first I didn't like you as you seemed like a back stabber however you seem to at least be honest and say so like a lady. You don't judge the way the others do...with the exception of Ramona. She is open too and that's probably why y'all didn't get along for a bit.
Kudo's to you! :))
Hands down...........YOU'RE MY FAV HEATHER.................Holla!
Levelheaded, fun, beautiful, honest, charitable, caring, sweet....I'm talking about Heather. Putting the 'real' in The Housewives. I agree with you about Luanne being very defensive, but in this incident regarding the borrowing of the designer dress, she had every right to feel hurt about what Carole said....and the way she said it.
Just once I would like to read a housewives blog where they werent talking about each other. If you like Lu so much dont talk about her. All of yall do it with each other.
charlsie.buttsford
what are they supposed to talk about??? They are on a reality television show thrust into situations involving each other on purpose!!! We are supposed to watch it, everything unfolding and then expect their blogs to be filled with their thoughts on laundry and politics??? Particularly after a reunion show when no one person gets to talk and we certainly don't get the chance to hear it, it's at least a normal sequence of events to hear their own perspectives on it and perhaps get a little clarity on what was being said...
Really enjoyed you on the show. I like how you don't take sides you go with what you feel s right. Very refreshing!
Looking back to the very first SEASON of RHONY I think you are the ONLY housewife that is honest, accomplished, respectful, grounded and with NO agenda. You are truly enjoyable to watch.
Memory61
Her agenda is to sell more undergarments.
Heather, I admire your knack at being able to succinctly express yourself and diplomatically, even charmingly, put someone in their place. You should write a book for people like me who are often left thinking, "Shoot! Wish I'd said that." I enjoy watching you at work. You seem so sharp, smart, and supportive. I get the feeling that you do sincerely enjoy everyone's success. It's very refreshing.
Hi Heather!!!
From the very beginning, I liked you! You have a tremendous spirit, and are an inspiration! You prove that you don't need to be a 'devil who wears prada' to be a successful business woman!
Please return next season! we love, love, love you!
all good wishes, cheers + keep smilin'!!! :O)
You were totally my favorite, the way you handled ramona, and sonja, but then....you broke girl code. Havent you ever heard of girl code?! Are you besties with Jacque now?Why do you have the urgency to be loyal to jacque who you barely even know? Lulu is a mother first, so i get why maybe she doesnt want to put it out there and admit what really happened. Tequila is a wicked wicked thing, and many a people have woken up besides someone they dont even remember because of this tequila stuff, I guarantee she never touches that tequila stuff again! Bottomline you called her out on tv for the whole world to see, if you were a true friend you wouldve done it off camera, and not waited for the reunion. Thats so unloyal, and unforgiving. I hope you redeem yourself on part 2.
Hey Heather, just wanted to write and give you a "holler" since I'm from the south and that's how some of us use the word. Another use of the word "holler" as my in-laws from West Virginia use it means "valley'. As in "the church is located down in the holler". By the way, they may smile if you call them hill-billies but they are most certainly not white-trash.
I liked how you told Ramona that you expected more from her if she is going to be your friend. You merely told her about what you expect for your choices. She can choose how to behave but you will choose as to whether to have a friendship with her or not. I like Ramona but she can be a bit too much. I think you've found the way to deal with high maintenance, very emotional, people. Kudos. Wow, an adult on a Real Housewives show. Who'd of thunk it?
I thought "Holla" was a term that was derived from an old southern term "holler' as'' we'll holler at you later" or talk or phone you later.I heard the term often when I was a child from my parents or their friends.Who knew?
Heather,
I have to say in the beginning of the season I was a little wary of you. I thought that maybe you were a little over the top and that your argument with Ramona was a little competitive and blown out of proportion. With that said, now I can't believe I ever felt that way! I love you and your husband!! Your husband is so cute!!
I began to see your point of view on a lot of things this season. And seeing your dedication and enthusiasm when it comes to your business is so inspiring. I think that you and Ramona should be good friends because I think you are similar and really loved seeing you have fun with each other in St. Barths. I understand your issues with her and I think that you guys have a healthy business competition going on which makes your friendship interesting. I do think that Sonja put you and Ramona purposefully against each other when it came to the toaster oven. I think that she was telling you one thing and Ramona another and Ramona was already feeling insulted by you plus didn't want her friend to be taken advantage of which is how Sonja made it sound was happening.
I thought that you were right when it came to the Aviva situation in St. Barths and I do believe that Ramona and Sonja were in the right about the dynamic as well. I thought that you standing up to LuAnn at the reunion was amazing! You really showed a good and true friend and I think in the business you are in as well as being on the show that is hard to find! I really enjoyed watching you this season and can't wait to see what you bring to the rest of the reunion as well as hopefully the show next year! I also hope your son is doing well!!
Heather, the more I watch you and read your blog the more I respect you and your never waivering position on holding the ladies' feet to the fire when they do wrong! I relate to you the most, however, I need to develop your ability to "smile through" the bs that others sling my way! I really enjoy watching now that you're on the show!
You and Carol are both fantastic!
You were right on mark with your comment regarding Luann. She doesn't want to hear certain things and turns stuff around to suit her. She's delusional.
Heather, You are an extraordinary person! You win the trophy for the NY housewife who is beautiful, accomplished, creative, smart, and articulate! You have a darling husband and we know how devoted you are to your son. I love your friendship with Carole, your intimate conversations and your laughter together. I also like that when you speak your mind, other people listen and you are right-on-target with your observations. Finally, you're an exceptional fundraiser -- $250,000 raised in one evening for your charity is really impressive. Hope you return next year. Best wishes.
I appreciated Heather standing up to Sonja and Ramona for talking through her fashion show and for accusing Heather of cheating Sonja out of prints/shots of the toaster oven campaign. I can't believe how ungrateful Sonja is, you would think Heather owed her a favor of something or that they've been friends for a decade or something for Sonja to feel that entitled.
Heather, I love that you are on the show. Great classy addition to the cast!
Ahhhhh! Heather what can I say…… you are one hard working, driven woman who knows how to have some fun and how to treat people with respect. Oh and that smile of yours well……it is a disarming smile and I love it! I would love to have a female friend such as yourself, who is supportive and comforting. You are a true treasure!! :)
Hi, Heather. I guess I don’t tune into your blogs enough, but I'm not sure what all the hoopla is about your “Holla,” at the end of your intro announcement. According to the Spanish pronunciation, it is ŌLA; the H being silent. And, the pronunciation for the slang, HOLLA, is hăllă (best I can tell), and your pronunciation seems to be, hōllă (I really need to listen to it again to be sure. Anyways, I also looked up the meaning of HOLLA, and there are many listed definitions (examples), and I guess I’m too old to grasp the modern slang, so now I kinda get what your salutation is…still somewhat confused with your closing pronunciation.
@iamheathert10
You ARE a breath of fresh air on reality TV! It can be frustrating watching the show where we see these very fortunate women heading into tailspins over really silly drama. You and Carole have both had to deal with some very real, very serious challenges in your lives, and I wonder if that is part of why you both are so reasonable. There is nothing like a painful challenge or loss to reasses priorities. Thank you so much for bringing kindness, calmness and the voice of reason to this show!
As far as the viewer can tell, your assessment of Luann is DEAD ON. Well said!
Luann should read this entry to herself every day. Perhaps it would sink in. I think she would be a stronger person for it...
I'm really enjoying you on the show. Thanks for sharing!
I am so glad you're on the show, you are a breath of fresh air and someone most people can relate to. You seem so down to earth and not let this "fame" get to you - unlike Romona and Sonja - You and Carole made this season barebale to watch and we are thankful for that. Hollaaaaa back!
Heather, You are so cool. keep it up
Heather,
Enjoyed watching you and Carole on the show this season.. both of you by far my favorite NYC Housewives.. Hope you come back
Heather, I have liked you since you started the show and am happy to say that I still do. You have the no-nonsense yet friendly and outgoing attitude that I treasure when meeting other professional women. It's rare to find. Thank you for explaining the proper etiquette when "borrowing" from designers. I may br a professional but designers are still a bit out of MY league. I also agreed with you that Luann seems to shut down when confronted with any issue that doesn't fit into the agenda she has classified it for. I still can't help but like her, I just think she needs to think outside the celebrity box, she is of the Housewife franchise not of the model/actress elite. You and Carole are a breath of fresh air and common sense to the show, please note that I did not mention Aviva to that compliment. Holla back at ya!
Heather--you hit the nail on the head re: LuAnn. LuAnn thinks she's a celebrity, but outside of the viewers of this show and a small minority of people in NYC, nobody knows who she is. And she doesn't feel she says or does anything wrong EVER. When she's called out about something she said or did, especially when she KNOWS she's wrong, then she goes into her snobby un-Countess-like attack mode. I doubt if you have had a private conversation with her that your message would have been heard--she probably would have shut you down. She's played the "Countess" card too much, and she doesn't know how to deal with someone who will call her out on her nonsense.
janb55 Please explain LuAnn nonsense and please explain how Heather's truck driver mouth is acceptable?
Rashad007 janb55 What truck driver mouth? Are you confusing Heather with Romona?
LPR011 Rashad007 janb55
Come on!!!...
Even Heather and Carole admit Heather curses a LOT and more than Ramona. Some of you get on the ridiculous bandwagon of being her fan and want to make her out to be perfect. It just makes it seem that she views herself that way and it is unattractive.
Heather, I didn't know how to take you when the season started. However, as things got going I liked you more and more each week. Of all of the women on this show, you would definitely be the best 'friend' to have. I hope you return next year!

Heather – you are absolutely fabulous! You are always positive, bubbly and come across very well-mannered and put together! I love watching you on the show!
