RHONY's Food Fights Have Inspired Limited-Edition Caviar and Pringles Kits
The Crisps and Caviar Collection is "the high-low snack the world didn’t know it needed," according to The Caviar Co.'s CEO.
Behold! A delectable combination made famous on The Real Housewives of New York City is a fun and tasty treat you can have right now.
On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Kellogg’s (the parent company of Pringles-brand chips) announced a partnership between Pringles and The Caviar Co., collaborating to bring consumers the Crisps and Caviar Collection. Both companies said they “united their culinary genius to craft a first-of-its-kind collection to bring the luxurious snacking trend to the masses and elevate everyday occasions.”

Of course, Bravo fans have been well acquainted with the flavorful marriage since RHONY’s Erin Lichy prepared the snack during her Hamptons sleepover in Season 14, Episode 2.
Here’s what you need to know.
What to Know About the Pringles and Caviar Combo
The “chic, flavor-forward combo” has been viewed more than a whopping 10 billion times on TikTok, according to the press release, merging the world of “high-brow snacking with social media trends” to “provide fans with the ultimate flavor experience.”

The limited-edition kits offer a selection of flavors in neat and luxurious black serving trays, all of which include a gold collectible keychain, tins, and caviar spoons. The packages are a trendy display to share with others or bring to an event, but conveniently packed for anyone on the go.
“No matter how snacking enthusiasts mix and match flavors, they’ll relish in the light texture, balanced flavor, and uniform hyperbolic paraboloid shape of Pringles that perfectly complements this oceanic delight," the release reads.
The Caviar Co. Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Petra Higby, called the creation “the high-low snack the world didn’t know it needed,” a nod to when Sai De Silva called Erin a “high-low type chick” over Erin’s choice to serve caviar on Pringles
Pringles’ U.S. Marketing Lead Mauricio Jenkins also nodded to RHONY when quoted in the Kellogg's release.
“From TikTok reviews to reality TV housewives, the nation is craving Pringles and caviar — and in true Pringles fashion, we’re satisfying the caviar-curious,” Jenkins said, in part.
Why Pringles and Caviar Came Up on RHONY
Erin served the dish to Sai, Jenna Lyons, Ubah Hassan, and Jessel Taank at her Sag Harbor home on Long Island (Brynn Whitfield came for the later part of the Hamptons getaway).
“Who doesn’t like caviar?” Erin wondered aloud before her guests arrived from the city. She added that it was “a bougie snack for these bougie bitches.”
Erin served the snacks with an assortment of herbs and bubbly, while cucumbers and lox appeared to be part of the scrumptious spread. Even Jenna, who was initially skeptical about pairing the stackable snack with roe, gave her seal of approval with her “not no” response.
The chips and caviar combo was also featured on the July 23, 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, with Andy commenting, “By the way, caviar on a Pringle is brilliant.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss also thought it was a good idea, citing how much she loved Pringles on the same WWHL episode.
The Crisps and Caviar Collection offers variety
The new collab offers fans a choice of three kits, the first being Smoky Shores, the least expensive option for $49. Smoky Shores pairs sour cream and onion Pringles with smoked trout roe in a “Mr. P bow tie-inspired serving tray.” It also comes with crème fraîche to add brightness and tang for a perfect balancing duo.
The second option, at $110, is Salt of the Sea, where “a harmonious blend of crunchy, creamy, and salinity, top Pringles original with The Caviar Co.’s buttery Classic White Sturgeon Caviar and rich crème fraiche.”
The third and final kit, the Crisps and Caviar Flight, mixes the first two but also includes BBQ-flavored chips.
“We expertly paired our high-quality, sustainably sourced caviar and roe with Pringles flavors that complement each other in taste, aroma, and texture,” Higby continued. “The result is a must-try collection that takes the guesswork out of pairing and serving caviar, is sure to elevate any occasion, and brings your caviar dreams to life.”
The Crisps and Caviar Collection was released the same day as the press release, though there are limited daily deliveries, and they’re available on a while-supplies-last basis.
