Jenna Lyons and Andy Cohen Reveal Everything You Want to Know About RHONY Season 14
Jenna Lyons also revealed whether she still likes her fellow Housewives after watching RHONY Season 14.
With the clock ticking down to the Season 14 premiere of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City on Sunday, July 16, cast member Jenna Lyons and executive producer Andy Cohen stopped by NBC’s Today to tease what to expect in the new season.

Jenna, CEO of the beauty brand LoveSeen and former J.Crew president, told host Hoda Kotb why she wanted be part of the NYC franchise.
“What I loved was that this time they were bringing on a totally different group,” Jenna said. "It was a total changeup. The cast is very diverse in age, in ethnicity, in look, in feel, in style, and in personality. That to me was a big game changer.”

Andy echoed that sentiment about the Season 14 reboot.
“It's fresh and new,” he said. “It's dramatic, it’s funny, and it's New York.”
He also revealed that he was part of the team that curated and selected the cast before hailing the six new NYC Housewives as a cohesive group of “fresh, energetic, fashionable, aspirational, brilliant women” with “Jenna at the forefront.”
Andy even described Jenna’s willingness to take on the demands and unknowns of being a Bravolebrity as “a trustfall” — but one Jenna is happy to have done.
Hoda, who clearly knows a thing or two about Real Housewives, pointed out that each one has “a vibe” about them — the funny, one, the ditsy one, the honest one, and so on. “What one are you?” she asked Jenna.
“I think I'm the cold one. I didn't mean to but I'm a little bit more reserved,” Jenna said. “I think I was just nervous. It's intense. I warm up. But I actually get more vulnerable. I cry. I do everything you think I wouldn't do.”
For Jenna the experience was eye-opening as she learned more about her fellow Housewives — and about herself.
“What I found most interesting is that you go into it thinking you know someone and what happens is you very clearly see quickly that you don't know people,” she said. “What you assume and what you expect are not what you find.”
Andy, who knows how to stir the Real Housewives pot, noted that Jenna has seen the Season 14 episodes for the first time.
"So she's now seeing what her friends said about her behind her back,” he said.
“Do you still like them?” asked Hoda.
“Yes,” said Jenna. She paused, then added, “Some of them.”
Tune in to find out more about all the Housewives when RHONY premieres July 16 at 9/8c on Bravo.
