I'm very happy to hear that both Vicki and Tamara are moving on in a more positive direction in their lives. They really seem to be in a good place right now. I'm ecstatic for the both of them. It makes me happy to see anyone recover from a divorce as well as they did. A divorce is never an easy thing to have to endure, but to know you must know there will always be "life after love." Life goes on. Honestly, they both seem like they are exactly where they feel they are suppose to be and are very happy. I couldn't be happier for them, and even though I don't know the both of them all that well, I always love to hear of a successful, happy, and positive outcome from any bad situation.
I was very worried to hear about Vicki's daughter's health concerns. Gretchen had told me that Vicki's daughter might have cancer. I can say on a personal level, I can truly relate to what she is going though. I sincerely wanted to find an opportunity to sit down with her to introduce myself and give Vicki my condolences on her condition, but from what I heard Vick's walls were up, and the likeliness of Vicki meeting anyone halfway on an emotional level right now (including Gretchen and Slade) were slim to none.
I really just want everyone to all get along for the sake of the many greater issues everyone is going through. Then we can be there for each other and help if need be. At the time, I wasn't in the best place -- but I knew that everyone needs support at one time or another (myself included). Truth be told that mades me very apprehensive to approach Vicki any time, but I knew it needed to be done sooner or later. I wanted her to get to know me for the person that I am and covey that we are all here for her if she needs us. Let's just put everything else aside.
