Buy a Nose
Gretchen goes to visit Alexis, only to find her wearing a SARS mask. Alexis is a little less than thrilled with the time-table of Gretch's visit, which might be why she made her look at those mucus photos (ick!). Once the gals get past the phlegm discussion, Alexis mentions that she plans on talking to Tamra once she's fully recovered. It's a rough spot, with everyone feeling bristled about the new friendship dynamic, and we'll have to see what all works out.
And then all is revealed. After a very tender, touchy removal process, we finally see Lex's new nose. And she loves it! She's breathing massive amounts of air and ready to debut her new nose on the news.
Finally the day arrives for our 'Wives to take it to the dirt. Slade has drilled holes into his shoes, and Ryan has gotten an amazing bandana for the occasion.
But one pit later, Gretchen takes a tumble and thinks she's sprained her ankle. The gang carries on, while Slade and Gretchen meet with the medics to see if she's going to be too hobbled to perform with the Pussycat Dolls.
The gang is only two mudpits later when Eddie takes a tumble from some monkey bars and breaks his finger. Who would have thought that Heather would have made the one to make it out of the whole run unscathed?
It's good because it lead to him getting to hose down the ladies, which I'm sure Terry thought was worth the whole rigamaroo. The other boys spent their after run time trying to one up each other with clavicle fractures and Tour de France stories. Oh men!
Yes, I did the Mud Run (for MS) last year at 43 and it was a blast....a little challenging but fun....I think I ate non-stop for a week after...I felt like I was starving. It's fun and for a great cause.
I love the housewifes with the exeption of Alexis.......not to be critical but she needs to move onnnnnnnnnnnn...OMG!....please get rid of her
Depending on what the cause was, I might do a mud run. It comes off with water. I am just glad that Alexis did not do it. She would have made a big thing of it. She really needs to find something else to do and disappear off this show.
To answer your question....NO I would NOT do a mud run! But I applaud the women who DID do it, although I'm not real sure Gretchen really "sprained" her ankel it didnt look swollen at all to me but then its hard to tell when you are seeing it on TV and she does have that thing coming up with...who is it again? the cat something.....whatever! Slade is still a slime bag but thats Gretchens problem. Tamra still likes to stir the pot and stab people in the back. Alexis is Alexis bless her heart Heather shocked me by doing the mud run Kudos to her! Vicki's feelings on PDA are legit....a lot of people dont feel comfortable with it and I believe you cant or shouldnt show EVERYTHING on TV some things need to be kept private. The jury is still out on Brooks....I don't quite trust him based on what I've seen and he reminds me more and more of Slade every time hes on the show and more information about him comes out......Just my 2 cents worth :)
When the Real Housewives started I was hooked...but overtime I find myself looking for something else to watch. You fire people like Jill but keep people like Vicki. You reward dimwits like Kim with a spin off and yet ignore others who would be much more interesting to watch. Heck I would rather see RHDC come back in production than watch another season of this. This show doesn't really show rich successful women, but women who use men to get where they want to be in life. SAD SAD!
I was really happy to see the six mud runners together. No big cat fights, well There was no Vicki (the all about me creep), and the real clueless idiot (Lex). Maybe the others can get along if the other two stop this about she did Not stand up for me or have my back. Eddie was so cool working to include Slade in the conversation, he is a real nice Guy. Terry seemed to have a good time. He seems to know how to have some fun in life, he does what Heather wants but that is a Jewish husband.
I have an idea, replace Vicki, (PLEASE) and Lex. Bring Jeanna back and anyone else. Then the show could be fun again.
I am sooo tired of the Barbies. Old Barbie won't kiss her new lover. Is she in grade school? Jesus Barbie thinks she is Oprah. Billionaire Barbie lives in a hotel and complains she has no space. Rich ken drops 50,000 dollars on a couple of suits and Desi Ken whines when he hurts his finger. Sheesh! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I wanted to say that I really enjoy all of the HW series. (It's my guilty pleasure!)
This is the kind of show that you really don't want to openly admit that you watch, out of fear that your girlfriends may somehow see you as an uneducated couch potato that sits around all day watching reality shows. However, after a couple of glasses of wine........ you each confess to watching the HW's and crack up laughing! Honestly, it's only one of two shows that I even watch on television- Smash is the other ;-)
I have seen a little of my self in each one of the House wives on all the shows. Not in the way that they live their lives or treat each other, but each as individuals. I have loved and hated each one of them at one time or another. But at the end of the day, I can honestly say that I actaully LIKE them. Love them or hate them, we can't help ourselves. I think we ALL see ourselves in EACH one of them.
I just wanted to say "Thanks". You make watching seem less like a guilty pleasure and more like therapy! ;-) xox
Both Tamra and Vickie and even NeNe on the other franchise of Atlanta Housewives are still legally married but already deep into relationships with other men. and they cry, "I want this over so I can move on!". Um ladies YOU have moved on....to other men! Come-on a few episodes back- before divorce papers racked her body with sobs -she and her handsome Eddie were discussing living together! Ne Ne "can put the pen in hand-but can't get hand to sign " Cause her hands are to busy snatching gifts from her boyfriends paws! Oh, Vicki-the closet still has half Don's clothes in there! I think you have all moved on..so don't act sad now for cameras! And Vicki you do need a strong man...I liked that Brooks was not giving up on PDA request until he got it but it was the close-up of those crazy eyes that have me worried! Will he be too bossy for you? Or will you berate him publicly the next time he asks for a kiss -and take his testicales and put them in your purse next to Don's? Well only time will tell -that is if you "ladies" can recover and manage to some how move on!!
i know alexis stuff is live, but do you think she goes back later to watch? she is so overly confident and can't figure out why. she needs a good old souther, Bless her heart....
The only opinion I've developed so far it total relief and support for Brianna, the only sane one in the bunch. I'm so glad she's cancer free. I need to digest the rest of it for a while but Tamra continues to confound me. I can't put into words how much I don't get how two-faced and shallow she is. Did she really say to Vicki she thought Gretchen (behind a table) was going to stand up and hit Vicki? Is that how she grows a friendship?
Once again, I really enjoyed the show this week. No cat fights, no gossip, no crap. I am enjoying this season with the limited drama and seeing what these girls do with their time. I liked the mud run and I have to say I am surprised that Heather participated. Just like last week, Alexis is a bore and has nothing to offer and I hope this is her last season. Heather, well I like her but after seeing her home I think she is a little to much for needing "more room". Poor baby, take one of the extra wings in your house and turn it in to another bed room. Or, heres a thought, be like the rest of us normal people and make your kids share a room. With all that said, I really do like Heather but 50K for a few suits and needing more room is a little over the top for me. I really do like that Tamra and Gretchen are getting along. It makes the show easier to watch. I hope they continue to be friends on and off camera. As for Vicki, well, she doesn't make a lot of sense to me and I hate that because she has always been my favorite. She said she didn't like to be home alone, yet she continues to be with Brooks. She sees him a couple times a month, how is that not being alone. Brooks seems fishy to me, be careful Vicki. I know she has A LOT on her plate right now, but I miss the days when she went to Havasue and woo-hoo'ed it up. Thats the Vicki I miss. All in all, this has been a good season, no drama, and seeing the girls extra activities. I am enjoying it this season and actually looking forward to watching it. Oh, one more thing. I still don't like Slade and I think he is taking up space that could be put to better use.
