Are Some In-N-Out Burger Locations Better than the Rest? Let Padma Lakshmi Explain
The #TopChef host speaks to her love of burgers.
Padma Lakshmi knows a lot about food. As the host of Top Chef, the former model has to be willing to try anything that ends up on her plate. But when the cameras aren't rolling, Padma prefers to chow down on burgers. And when Top Chef headed to California for Season 13, there was a bit of a debate among the cast and crew about which of the famed In-N-Out spots is the best. Well, we now have the definitive answer straight from Padma.
"I do go through a drive-thru when I'm in L.A. Oh, totally, In-N-Out," she shared with E! News during the NBCUniversal upfront presentation on Monday. "Last season when I was filming in California, we were basically on a road trip up and down the California coast and we would have this contest about which was the best In-N-Out. Is it San Diego? Is it Los Angeles? The best one we had was Palm Springs."
In fact, Padma's love for burgers was documented in a Carl's Jr. commercial back in the day (check it out below) and she still considers one of the chain's menu options as a staple in her diet. "I love burgers. I love the Bacon Western Cheeseburger [from Carl's Jr.]," she said. "I love a lot of different burgers."
