What Triggered This Top Chef Winner to Feel his Hair "Raise Up" With Emotions?
Joe Flamm, season 15 winner on Bravo's Top Chef, will never forget the power of the experience.
Season 15 finalists of Bravo's Top Chef — Fatima Ali, Joe Flamm, and Joe Sasto — reunited recently in Aspen for the annual Food & Wine Classic, where each of the former contestants prepared one of their own signatures for the guests. (And yes, they made time for a delightful "Joe sandwich" while they were at it.)
And it was there that Season 15's big winner Flamm took a pause to reflect on what it meant to be back in Colorado, where the heated competition took place.
"It's really nice to be back in Colorado," he told The Feast at the event — and "not under such strenuous circumstances" this time.
He explained, "It was really, really fun last time I was here. But it's nice to be here actually able to enjoy myself. Just putting on the coat today, and being here with my finale crew of Joe Sasto and Fatima Ali, raised up the hair on the back of my neck and really made me feel everything come back."
Upon reflection, he told The Feast, "It feels amazing!"
