Jax Taylor and Lance Bass have created a new way to whip up delicious cocktails at home. The Vanderpump Rules cast member and the NSYNC alum who officiated his wedding to Brittany Cartwright teamed up to launch a non-alcoholic cocktail mixer called Just Add X. (Yup, that’s an “acronym for Jax,” their creative director, James Kirtley, told Us Weekly. The “X” stands for the alcohol of your choice.)

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Lance revealed the hilarious way they came up with the concept. “Of course the inspiration came from Jax being such a horrible bartender,” he said in an interview with Us Weekly

“The mixers are so easy to use—inspired my lack of bartending skills as many of you know—and taste incredible,” Jax said, adding that he and Brittany have been sipping on Just Add X cocktails by the pool.

In an interview with Forbes, Jax noted that the mixers make it possible to create cocktails that would otherwise require lots of time. “For a guy like me, I’m not going to take the time to do the muddling in a drink,” he said. “I don’t even do it at a bar, even when people are paying 15 dollars for a cocktail. If they say they want a Mojito, I would say we are out of it.”

According to the Just Add X website, the mixers are all-natural, under 80 calories, and gluten-free. There are also four flavor options: Berry Smashed (Strawberry-Basil), Stubborn Mule (Ginger-Lime), S.O.B (Jalapeño-Cucumber), and Blue Teaz (Blueberry-Black Tea). A single bottle of mixer is $9.99, but the price per bottle is discounted when bought in a bundle.
