Lisa Vanderpump Responds to Charli Burnett Dissing SUR's Cheesecake
The Vanderpump Rules boss had some words about "loyalty" for the rookie SURver.
On a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, there was a slightly awkward moment between Charli Burnett and some SUR patrons. When the restaurant's guests asked the SURver to recommend a few desserts, she was perfectly happy to list a few sweets her table should try — namely, the cobbler, the chocolate cake, and the sorbet. But then, they asked about the cheesecake. And that's when Charli got very candid.
"Oh, the cheesecake's really good," the PumpRules rookie said. "I'm just, like, a picky person about my cheesecake. So I go to the Cheesecake Factory." Keep in mind: This does come from a woman who says she doesn't like pasta, so she doesn't share everyone's taste. Still, the statement didn't quite land with Charli's boss.
When she appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: @ Home on April 7, Lisa Vanderpump responded to Charli's diss. "What did you think of Charli saying she's picky about the cheesecake at SUR and she prefers The Cheesecake Factory?" Andy asked.
"What about loyalty?" Lisa quipped. "What about supporting the restaurant that's [paying you?]?" She added: "I will be talking to her about that — very soon!"
