Andy Cohen weighs in on show premieres and chides Dr. Keith Ablow for his Chaz Bono comments.
How is it possible that one day back at work could erase the massive chunk of time I spent at the beach? Yesterday was a big day, lots of decisions and planning and sorting and plotting. And fun. I am so lucky to work in TV -- it's what I always wanted, so I always try to keep that in mind!
I thought the back-to-back combo platter of Flipping Out and Rachel Zoe was delicious last night. It's great to have Rachel back on our air after what feels like way too long a break. I loved when Rodger said about the baby, "He's like no years old." Am I the only person that thinks Rachel and Rodger are Sonny and Cher-esque, by the way?
Speaking of Cher, I wish that "Dr." Keith Ablow and anyone else who is disparaging Chaz Bono appearing on DWTS would shut their freaking faces, look at their calendars, and join us in the 21st century. This is not a productive conversation. Someday (tomorrow? next week?) he's going to look back on this, and it'll seem like an antiquated debate. I salute DWTS for casting Chaz. I wanna see he and Ricki Lake go to the end. I think Ricki is the one to beat, by the way. That girl can dance, and she's really competitive. I had lunch with Kyle, Adrienne, and Lisa (and husbands and Giggy) yesterday after they taped Anderson Cooper's new syndicated show. (Their episode will air next week, and his show premieres Monday.). It sounds like it was quite a good show. This is not even much of a predication, but I think Anderson is going to be a force in daytime. People don't realize how great he is interacting with people. He's really charming.
Here I am with Giggy and his little salute to Coops:
I am stuck in horrible traffic on my way to an all-day meeting. It's raining to beat hell, my driver is not having me one bit, and I have a headache from a sleepless night. Summer is OVER!
