I Left My Heart

Andy Cohen dishes on an amfAR event.

Man did I have fun with Wendy Williams last night! I mean fun! She went in on NeNe during the After Show. Tonight is Lisa Vanderpump and Matthew Broderick!

San Francisco is such a tease! Everytime I go, there's a ticking clock over my head, and I don't get to stay as long as I'd like. My visit on Friday was no different. The amfAR event was an absolute blast from start to finish. The theme was Moroccan -- hilariously -- so the Word of the Night (yes, I instituted it even though we weren't televised) was ya habibbi, and folks went for it.  The set-up -- at a superchic design studio -- was gorgeous, and the crowd not only dressed for the occasion in a big way, most importantly they were there to have a great time.

The food was delish and brought to us by Chef Gary Danko, with desserts downstairs from the first Top Chef: Just Desserts winner Yigit Pura. I love seeing Yigit. (Who wouldn't?) Alan Cumming performed beautifully during dinner and the highlight there was a Lady Gaga/Adele/Katy Perry mashup that brought down the house. After dessert we went downstairs for an awesome set by Chaka Khan, who sang hit after hit, including "Ain't Nobody," "Through the Fire," "Feel for You," and "I'm Every Woman."

I went solo to the event and am glad I did -- I wound up meeting some incredible people through the night. More, please, San Francisco!
