Captain Lee Rosbach Says He's Gained 10 Pounds — and It's All His Wife's Fault
The Below Deck boss shared some new information about his wife, Mary Anne: She's an incredible baker.
When one is hunkered down at home for an indeterminate amount of time, the kitchen is never far. And when one is self-quarantined with a talented baker, well, that just makes snacking all the more tempting.
Below Deck's Captain Lee Rosbach has been in self-quarantine with Mary Anne, his wife of 45 years. During his downtime, the yachting pro has been riding his bike, reaching out to friends and family, and — as we now know — trying unsuccessfully to avoid sweet temptation.
In a recent Instagram post, Lee offered a peek at the kind of goodies that are coming out of his home kitchen. The photo showed a gorgeous cake topped with clouds of white frosting and red-velvet crumbles. "Now y'all know why I've put on 10 lbs during this quarantine," the captain wrote."It's all Mary Anne's fault. Tell me you could resist that!!!!! The struggle is real."
There's no way we could resist a cake this sweet. But for now, we'll just have to eat it with our eyes:
While Captain Lee deals with red-velvet temptation, his friend Kate Chastain is facing down a far less delicious issue in self-quarantine. The former chief stewardess recently detailed her horrific bug infestation.
