Animal lover Jenni Pulos may be known for her exceptionally cute dogs Janet the Pug and Dudley the Puppy, but were you aware she also has a cat? Yep, the Flipping Out executive assistant has a black and white tabby named Mellie! While the sweet kitty is somewhat buried in Jenni’s Instagram (what with her recently giving birth to her second daughter, Georgia Grace), she did recently share a post proving that Mellie is alive and well.

Okay, maybe not well:

“Just for the record, cats don’t actually like it when you raise them in the air and sing the Lion King song. My apologies Mellie…” she posted.

Pretty much anyone with a cat is well aware that felines don’t take kindly to being held overhead while “Circle of Life” is being blared in the background. They are not baby Simbas here for your amusement, okay Rafiki?
