Go Inside Ariana and Sandoval's First Onscreen Confrontation Over a $6K Dog Surgery
On Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix called out Tom Sandoval for his "carelessness" with her dog, Mya Moon Madix.
Did Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval just breach their no-contact policy?
Since the Season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, viewers have received a glimpse into how Ariana and Tom remain civil while remaining under the same roof since their split. For the most part, things are amicable between the exes in their Valley Village home, thanks to Tom’s assistant, Ann Maddox.
However, it appeared that things at home had taken a turn for the worst on Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 10 (which aired April 2) after Ariana unexpectedly had to get their dog, Mya Moon Madix, surgery, which resulted in Ariana and Tom clashing with each other not once but twice.

What happened to Ariana Madix’s dog, Mya?
While at James Kennedy and Ally Lewber’s home, Ariana informed her castmates that Tom put Mya in her room when she wasn't home, leading to the dog eating inedible items.
As Ariana explained in a confessional, “He not only let Mya in my room, but he then locked her in there for hours, so while she was trapped in there, she chewed on a takeout container that had, like, wooden skewers from chicken satay. And that carelessness given what she has now ingested could literally end her life.”
Despite Mya’s awful experience, Ariana reassured that her dog was fine after spending “$6,000” on surgery to remove the particles from her stomach.
Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval's "scary" argument over Mya
Although Mya is in good health now, that didn’t stop Ariana from labeling her ex as a “dog murderer” before insisting that he stays out of her “safe space.”
Ariana told Tom: “Do not go in my room. It’s the only safe space I have in that home because you f-cking wrecked it.”
In an interview, Tom expressed why he thought Ariana exaggerated the severity of Mya’s incident. “Ariana’s taking a very quick jump from accident to dog murder,” he said. “Mya’s OK. There’s no dead dog in this situation. It’s f-cking ridiculous.”
Things continued to escalate between the two and Tom eventually stormed out of James and Ally’s house.
Tom Sandoval on Ariana Madix's "rage"
Right after leaving, Sandoval called Tom Schwartz to reflect on his confrontation with Ariana, saying, “Dude, you see the rage that f-cking comes out of her?” He added: “Like this is what I dealt with my entire relationship, that f-cking scary f-cking rage, all the f-cking time.”
Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix clash over pet adoption fees
The dog drama didn’t stop there. Later in the episode, the duo got into another argument after Ariana revealed to the group at the beach that she “paid adoption fees” to get sole custody of Mya.
Immediately after Ariana's admission, Sandoval noted, “It was the one bill that Ariana paid.”
Again, things started to get fiery between the two before Ariana shut down Sandoval by yelling, “Stop speaking to me,” resulting in him walking off from her.
As for her reaction to Sandoval taking a break from the group setting? Ariana said: “Oh, great, he’s leaving.”
Who owns Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval's house?
Ariana and Tom co-own their Valley Village house. On Season 11, Episode 8 of Vanderpump Rules, Tom stated, "The ball is in [Ariana's] court" when it comes to selling the home, but she disputed this on the Vanderpump Rules After Show. As of right now, Tom and Ariana are "trying to come to a solution."
