Can't these two just enjoy their Oscars night?
It started as a cute, mother-daughter selfie—then, whoa! On Oscars night, Kourtney Kardashian and her little one were snuggled up in bed, watching the glitzy telecast. Kourtney whipped out her phone to snap a photo, which featured four-year-old Penelope wearing a certain accessory.
"Yes, that's a lip ring," Kourtney wrote, thanking Penelope's auntie Kim—presumably for the inspiration. Here's KK on a recent pierced outing in New York:
And, stop the record. After spotting the little one with the edgy piece of jewelry, the Internet went a bit wild. (As it's wont to do.) Thousands of comments quickly racked up under the post, and some were moved to troll a four-year old.
Though many pointed out that the ring could be fake, others put their foot down in a nasty way. "The f%$* you giving a baby a lip ring for?" read one particularly colorful question. Another Instagram user furiously opined: "U dont deserved [sic] to be a mother. Very irresponsible." Goodness!
It's not all bad, though. For as many alarmingly angry posts as there were, other fans hopped in with heart-eyed emjois and words of encouragement. "Cute!," read dozens of comments.
