Teresa Giudice: 'I Can't Be Upset and Curl Up'

The RHONJ star also admits she has her weak moments.

With legal issues looming, Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, are doing their best to keep life at home as normal as possible for their girls—and it looks like they're succeeding.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

Teresa and Joe welcomed Good Morning America into their home this week, where Teresa sat with Amy Robach to talk about the uncertain times she and her family are going through. "I would love to answer all your questions," Teresa tells Amy. "And one day I will, but out of respect for the process, I'm gonna let the legal matters play out in court."

She was more candid discussing the emotional toil it has taken over her and her family. And she's resolute in keeping a brave face for her daughters. "I can't just be upset and curl up in a ball and just go in a room and lock the door. I can't. I'm a mom. I have four daughters."

Still, Teresa does admit that she has occasional breakdowns. "Yes, I do that," she says. "I would be lying to say that's not happening."

"My three little ones, they really don't know what's going on," she continues. "My oldest does know something's going on, but we say, 'Mommy and Daddy have a legal team that's handling it.'"

Their legal turmoil isn't the only problem they're weathering—rumors about Joe's infidelity have also come to the fore. But as far as Teresa and Joe are concerned, they're putting on a united front and are insistent that Joe didn't cheat. "No rumor's ever gonna come between us," she says. "If anything, all this, it's made us stronger. And we're grateful for that."

Last fall, Andy Cohen sat down with the couple for the first interview since their legal issues surfaced. And they vowed then to keep their heads high. "I am not crawling under a rock and hiding," Teresa said. "That's not me. I am still going to be the person who I am today and the day I go to court."
