Yup, Rita Ora Walked Just the Red Carpet in a Bathrobe (It's Designer, Of Course)

She looks SO comfy.

By Adele Chapin

You know the pajamas-as-daywear trend? Celebs like Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid have been wearing silky nightgowns and PJs out and about, somehow managing to look both comfy and chic. But Rita Ora just one-upped them all by wearing a full-on bathrobe on the red carpet.

The singer showed up for her hosting gig at the MTV European Movie Awards on Sunday with stilettos, impeccable makeup, and dramatic diamond-encrusted jewelry — all while wearing a fluffy bathrobe and a towel draped around her head. No need for a hair stylist for this look.

You know so many celebs probably wish they could stay in the cozy robe they wore for red carpet prep instead of changing into a fancy dress. But Ora went ahead and found an actual bathrobe gown. "It's designer!" she said in a video clip from the show.

Sure enough, Ora's bathrobe-meets-ballgown is from Paloma Spain. This new designer is beloved by Beyoncé, who wore a Paloma Spain dress for her Internet-breaking pregnancy announcement Instagram post

Strangely enough, this isn't the only designer bathrobe ballgown we've seen lately. NYC brand Vaquera sent one down the runway this fall.

So wearing a bathrobe all day is suddenly stylish? That's a trend we could get behind.
