Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes have definitely had a rocky go at it over the years — especially given the origins of how they know one another. But, these two women were all smiles alongside one another over the weekend. So, just what occasion could have these two women letting bygones be bygones? Well, it was the birthday bash for Brandi's son with her ex-husband and Leann's current spouse, Eddie Cibrian, Jake Cibrian, who turned 11. "Peace in #calabasturd hanging for Jakes bday," Brandi shared about her hangout session with the country music singer.
LeAnn wrote a heartwarming message for the bday boy, along with a throwback photo: "Happy O-fficial Birthday to this lil man! I am so blessed to be his stepmom. What joy he brings to the lives of everyone he encounters. I wish he was still this little Happy #11 Jakey #happybirthday #stepmom #stepsonlove."
The mom and stepmom also posted some other photos from the party — including a photo of Brandi with her older son, Mason. Poppa Eddie also posted a message for Jake, writing, "And before you know it...in a blink of an eye...11 years old! Happy Birthday my lil’ man!! #birthdayboy #pooltime #stopgrowingsofastkid."
Brandi, Eddie and LeAnn defintely have a bit of a sordid past and Brandi recently commented about the evolution of her relationship with LeAnn and Eddie during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which you can check out in the video above.
Brandi and Eddie were together for nine years and went their separate ways in 2010. Together, they have two sons. Eddie and LeAnn married in 2011. And when The Daily Dish caught up with Brandi back in 2016, she chatted a bit about their changing dynamic. "I think we're realizing that it's all about the kids. It's not about us," she said at the time. "And there's no point at this point to bicker about silly things because they're together, happily married. I'm happy and single, but with the kids, so we don't have to have a rift between the three of us. There's no point. We have to come together for the kids and we're really working on that. And I'm happy about it."
