Brielle Biermann Stands by Lip Injections, Admits They Look "a Little Crazy" in Photos
The Don't Be Tardy daughter continues to defend her decision to plump her lips despite receiving backlash from critics.
If you have an opinion about Brielle Biermann's lips, she doesn't want to hear it. The Don't Be Tardy daughter has been open in the past about her choice to get lip injections, and she's not afraid to stand by her look (catch up on the latest of Don't Be Tardy here). While she's confirmed that she's never gone under the knife, she has said that her new lips are "proof" that she looks better now than she did before getting them done.
Now, Brielle, who just turned 22, is speaking out once again in defense of her injections in an interview with People. While discussing the online backlash she received about her lips, she shared, "I knew that it was coming. Everybody has an opinion, and some people say I’ve gone overboard."
Brielle's mom, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, shares a similar opinion on dealing with online hate. “People always have something to say,” she told People. “You’re never going to win.”
Brielle also said that what you see online isn't always the case in real life. "I will say, in some pictures, they do look a little crazy, but I feel like in person they’re actually not," she told the magazine.
She continued to share that her decision to get the procedure done was easily made. "Since I was 14 I was like, 'I have to have my lips done right when I turn 18,'" she revealed. "If I could’ve done it sooner I would’ve and I don’t regret it. I don’t think I’ve gone overboard like people claim.”
Since she made up her mind to get injections, her mom has been nothing but supportive. "Brielle was very insecure about her lips, I heard about it FOREVER,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared. “And when she turned 18, she was like, 'I’m doing it.' And I was like, 'Well, I’m going to take you to the best, I’m not going to let you go to somebody who’s not good.' So I did take her and I got a lot of heat for that, but it’s like, she’s going to do it anyway.”
Don't Be Tardy airs Fridays at 9/8c.
