Erika Girardi Will Spend Valentine's Day Recovering from Surgery
The RHOBH singer details why she'll be in the operating room this week.
Erika Girardi will be spending this February 14 at home recovering from knee surgery, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills singer revealed to The Daily Dish exclusively on Tuesday night (February 12) at an event celebrating Season 9 of RHOBH.
"I'm having knee surgery in the morning [on Wednesday], so there'll be no Valentine's Day," she shared on the red carpet. "Yes, I'm going from here to the OR. I have no idea [what the recovery will be]. I'll be fine. I'll be down for a week or two; it'll be OK."
And in case you're wondering if the surgery means extra-special treatment from her hubby, Tom Girardi, as she recovers, well, think again: "No, he does not [spoil me] — he's not a good nurse. He's a great husband, but a bad nurse."
Well, this Valentine's Day might be a little short on romance, but back in 2017, Erika revealed some secrets about Girardi Valentine's Days over the years. "Tom is really good [about Valentine's Day]. He usually gets me a piece of jewelry. He may [or] he may not. I don't know. You know what? It's OK," she said at the time (more on that and her relationship with Tom in the video above). "We used to go to Vegas a lot for Valentine's Day 'cause it's quick for us 'cause we live in Los Angeles. We used to jump on our little plane and go and have dinner and come home. So, I don't know, maybe we'll go."
