We’re invited to the royal wedding! (Kind of.)

In a Twitter announcement, Kensington Palace has confirmed invitations for the big day have been printed and sent out, and that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have invited 2,640 members of the public to their wedding. Like, regular people! Six hundred of the couples closest friends have been invited to the actual service, which will be held inside St. George’s Chapel on May 19.

Royal favorites Barnard Westwood, who have been making royal invitations since 1985, printed out the fancy invites, and also made the invites for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

The invites for Harry and Meghan feature the Three-Feathered Badge of the Prince of Wales printed in gold ink. They read: “His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales K.G., K.T. requests the pleasure of the company of … at the Marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales with Ms Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on Saturday 19th May 2018 at 12 Noon followed by a reception at Windsor Castle.”

Dress code is “Uniform, Morning Coat or Lounge Suit” for men and “Day Dress with Hat” for women.

As for the public guests, people were chosen at random from a variety of backgrounds and ages, including charity workers and young community leaders. Another 100 public guests will be students from local schools. Over 500 others will be residents of Windsor Castle and members of the St. George’s Chapel community, and members of the royal households.

The public guests can watch the arrival of the bride and groom and the carriage procession after the ceremony.

“Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have said they want their Wedding Day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too,” the palace said in a statement. “This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the Bride and Groom.”

The couple have said they were “hugely grateful” for the well wishes of the public, and so wanted to have a few strangers join in to enjoy their special day.
