Asa Soltan Rahmati Is Ready to Embrace Her Inner "Superpowers" for Motherhood
The newbie #Shahs mom opened up about becoming a mother right before welcoming her son.
Asa Soltan Rahmati has only been a mom for four days, but even in the days and weeks leading up to the birth of her son, Soltan Jackson, she had a pretty spiritual view on her new role of being a mama.
"I think pregnancy is one of the most special, spiritual journeys — beautiful journeys — in life and I've just felt so connected to love nugget," she told The Daily Dish right before the January 20 birth of her first child with Jermaine Jackson, Jr. "You communicate together. You interact. I think it's been one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced in my life is going through pregnancy and I'm sure that motherhood will even top that."
In fact, the new Shahs of Sunset mom was even looking forward to the day she gave birth to Soltan.
"I don't know why I'm actually really excited about labor. And I know it's gonna hurt and I have no illusions that it's not gonna hurt or anything, but you're birthing a soul and you're bringing a life into this world," she explained. "Of course it hurts, but what's beautiful about it is it's the perfect interaction between your body and the baby [with] your contractions. So I'm actually looking forward to the experience. I think, as a woman, when you give birth you feel like you have superpowers."
