Kathryn Dennis Proves the Faux Leather Legging Trend Is Still Going Strong

Kathryn Dennis may have just debuted an eyebrow makeover and brand-new sleek, angled bob, but some things never change. The Southern Charm fashionista still really loves her tried-and-true faux leather leggings.

Fans of the show will remember that Kathryn's pants made a big statement, and she incorporated them into so many of her fab outfits. So much so that Below Deck chief stew Kate Chastain joked on Twitter: "Thank you Kathryn Dennis for making the leather pant the go anywhere fashion item of 2019."

Kathryn explained why she loves her leather leggings so much during the Southern Charm Season 6 reunion. "They're like yoga pants, but they're like a pleather sheen, so you look like you're actually dressed up but you're not," she said. "And they come from Amazon, so they're like $10."

Genius! Kathryn just wore her pair this week, along with nude sandals and a feminine, sheer Edwardian-style polka dot lace blouse. Now, that's how it's done.

Kathryn isn't the only one who's a fan of the style. The Real Housewives of Orange County lawyer Emily Simpson just wore a similar pair on on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and her outfit is so good, she said: "If you ever take away one piece of advice from me it's this... Every girl needs at least one pair of these faux leather leggings!!"
