Craig Conover Shares His Top Home Decorating Trick

Though he had some doubters at first, Craig Conover has turned his pillow-making hobby into quite the business. As he explains the clip above, Craig's home decor is now seeing sales in several states and abroad — and he's even teamed up with HSN. Plus, the Southern Charm bachelor is now doling out decorating tips as an acknowledged expert in the field. 

Case in point: TheDailyMailTV recently asked the Sewing Down South founder for some simple design hacks. "A very easy tip for staring to get adventurous in your home is to just go with your gut. If you like something, do it, if you don't like it, then don't try to force it," Craig advised. "I just say, don't overthink it, and have fun with some bright colors, and mix and match. Just throw a bunch of stuff together and see what sticks —and a lot of times, it turns out." 

Craig also dished on Sewing Down South's new collaboration with Thomasville. "I think extending this line as far as possible is the goal, and it's going really well," he said. "Hopefully you'll be seeing our pillows in stores that will shock you across the country very, very soon." 

And in the meantime, Craig shared a tip on how to use the pillows, which you can browse here. "Instead of having one or two in a room, you can really fill a room with our entire collection," he said. "They're 22 [by] 22 [inch] pillows, which [gives] me a larger presence on the couch or wherever you have them."
