Kathryn Dennis Shares the Beautiful Inspiration Behind Kensie’s Bedroom
TheSouthern Charmmama picked an adorable and colorful palette for her daughter’s room.
While some are all about a minimalist, monochromatic aesthetic when it comes to home décor — we’re looking at you, Kim Kardashian — Kathryn Dennis is not one of them. Known for her bold fashion choices and her gorgeous, bright red hair, the Southern Charm mama channels that same high-design energy into her beautiful abode.
We’ve gotten sneak peeks of Kathryn’s Charleston spaces before and they’re typically chock full of bright colors, fabrics, and patterns. The founder of a kids furniture line (if you haven't checked out Kensie + Saint yet, you need to right now!), Kathryn is always on the hunt for design inspiration, and she found some in a totally gorgeous photo that she shared to her Instagram this week.
Captioned “Kensie’s room inspo,” the image is a cornucopia of color and whimsical pattern that is perfect for a little girl’s room. Featuring two walls of wallpaper — one a pastel-hued, Seuss-esque forest scene and the other a black-and-white polka dot pattern — the room also includes a sweet rainbow heart garland, light wood floors, and a fun house-shaped bed frame. Our favorite detail, however, is the 3D wall décor. There is a giant flamingo head hanging from above, a letter initial with lights, and a pair of sweet (sleeping) eyes with extra-long lashes.
The result? The sweetest room ever! Great inspiration, Kathryn, we hope you don’t mind us borrowing these ideas, too.
